Halftime: Grizzlies 51, Lakers 49

| | Comments (0) |

Kobe Bryant hit a jump shot late in the half that gave him 14 points in the game and 24,000 for his career. At 31 years, 75 days, he is the youngest player in league history to reach the milestone. Wilt Chamberlain was 31 years, 113 days when he scored his 24,000th point. Bryant finished the half with a team-leading 16 points. The Lakers were without Pau Gasol (strained right hamstring) and Andrew Bynum (strained right elbow). DJ Mbenga started in place of Bynum, who was hurt in Wednesday's OT win at Houston.
