Temper, temper

Anze Kopitar just got a 10-minute misconduct penalty because he slammed his stick against the glass next to the Kings' bench, and cracked it, as he skated off the ice.

I hope that Terry Murray fines Kopitar for this. I realize that Kopitar is 21 and emotions get the best of you in a game but he is wearing an A on his sweater and has to keep his emotions in check. He is supposed to be a leader and his poor unsportsmanship could not only hurt the team in this game but can trickle down to the rest of his team.

While he is young and everything and it needs to be addressed, I actually see this as a positive thing. It kind of shows to me he really cares. While certainly not the way to show it and ultimately hurting the team, we don't see this kind of emotion from Kopitar often. I think a verbal warning is all that is needed.

Guys do this all the time in hockey. Bad glass.

Kopitar should be fined for this, but a 10 minute misconduct? It's not like he hit another player. I could see 2 minutes for delay of game, but not 10 minutes.

That pane of glass had it coming.

I like it. He cares about the team and is probably frustrated that they can't score.

I was sitting for rows back from the pane and it was awesome. Ersberg almost wet himself. Highlight of the game. Is it just me or does Moller seem a little bit out of his league? Simmonds is obviously not a scoring winger but moller is supposed to be. I think Moller is sent down soon and Purcell will get another shot.
