Caddie gift bags at the U.S. Open

| | Comments (0) |

Caddie Charlene Alfonso (Agoura High, UCLA) had a chuckle when she received her U.S. Open gift bag. She's one of few female caddies. Like the male caddies, Alfonso received men's cologne, deodorant and mustache-trimming scissors.
Alfonso is caddying for Mike Miles, who plays out of Virginia Country Club in Long Beach. On Tuesday, he played a practice round with John Merrick, John Mallinger and Peter Tomasulo, who are all on the PGA Tour and play out of Virginia as well. Miles was originally scheduled to play a practice round with Tiger Woods on Wednesday, but that didn't pan out.
