Brad Bryant, nicknamed Dr. Dirt by Gary McCord nearly 30 years ago, fired a 5-under 67 Saturday to take a two-stroke lead entering the final round of the AT&T Champions Classic at Valencia Country Club.
Bryant is at 7-under 137.
He was 5 under on the four par-5 holes in the second round and one-putted his last six greens. He had an eagle (on the par-5 15th hole), five birdies and two bogeys. His eagle putt was a 37-footer.
