2008 Camping World Series schedule
The schedule for the 2008 Camping World Series, otherwise known as the NASCAR Grand National Divsion East and West Series, was released over the weekend. The 13-race West Series schedule includes two stops at Irwindale Speedway and one race at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma.
The May 18 race at Iowa Speedway will combine drivers from the East and West Series. Last year, Joey Logano beat Daytona 500 winner Kevin Harvick, a graduate of the old Winston West Series, at Iowa Speedway.
The West Series will visit Irwindale Speedway on July 4 and Aug. 16. The race at Infineon Raceway, one of two road courses the West Series will visit, is on June 21.
The races at Infineon Raceway and Phoenix Interantional Raceway on April 10 will be on the same weekend as NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at the tracks.
The season starts March 29 at All American Speedway in Roseville, Calif., and ends Oct. 18 at the new Kern County race track in Bakersfield.
