Dylan Lagarde, a sophomore quarterback who quit the Poly football team after starting the Jackrabbits' first four games before transferring to Los Alamitos late last month, is scheduled to start the Griffins' game against Marina tonight at Westminster.

The Griffins' starting quarterback during the team's 5-1 start, senior Dylan Cook, quit the team on Tuesday.

this is the proof we needed to show that kids no longer respect the process of being on a team. I have lost all respect for coach barnes for even considering lagarde as a player this year. what is he thinking? what does this say to the players who worked at the process of waiting their turn, juniors and seniors who worked their tails off to be "GRIFFINS".this lagarde kid thinks he's all that, he's not. how many other schools will this kid transfer to if daddy's little boy isn't playing.
the bigger question is what violations did they commit to even play this year, are you taking notes here commissioner. wigod! I think I'll move so my five year old grandchild can pick a school now and use my address.

this does suck for all parties involved as dylan waited his turn and the team was playing at a high level with him managing the team. legarde does have some tools that will compliment the teams skill players. these boys all played on the same pop warner team along with several other players so this is bitter sweet for all. heck if it was just a community based team we would not be talking about this as they would be an average team at best
