Mientkiewicz update
Had a chance to say hello to injured utility man Doug Mientkiewicz this evening and he sounded upbeat, despite his unfortunate, freak injury.
His arm was in a sling, but he's been staying in shape and says the rehab works he's been doing is grueling.
``If I do what I did today the whole time, by the time I get back I'll be looking like Manny,'' he joked.

Thanks for everything you've done for me personally in providing me with the latest and greatest news on my favorite team. I checked your posts RELIGIOUSLY, and they will be dearly missed. Thanks for taking me through so many ups and downs. You were, and I have no doubt, will continue your excellence in an arena that serves you best.
