I enjoy talking a walk around the office whenever I can. It gives me the opportunity to see things that can't be seen while driving by in traffic. I noticed the woman pushing her cart under the 101 Freeway at Topanga Canyon Blvd. in Woodland Hills, CA. I waited until she was between the concrete pillars, and as luck would have it, there were no vehicles passing between us when I recorded the photograph. I used my HTC EVO cell phone in gray scale mode to capture the image.

Every day I jog or hike a minimum of two miles. I shoot an image with my HTC EVO cell phone from each outing. While climbing a steep hill I positioned the cell phone in among the grass, set the ISO at 100 so I could capture some motion from the soft breeze and waited a few minutes for the sun to drop lower in the sky.
