Nolan Ryan, meet Ervin Santana

| | Comments (0) |

This little tidbit came out of Thursday's Angels game against the Detroit Tigers and managed to link Nolan Ryan with Ervin Santana:

Ervin Santana struck out eight batters in the Angels' victory
over the Tigers on Thursday afternoon. It was Santana's seventh
consecutive start with at least seven strikeouts, the longest
single-season streak of its kind by an Angels pitcher since 1978, when
Nolan Ryan did that in seven straight starts.
