Jepsen: From Olympics to Majors

| | Comments (0) |

The Angels announced this morning they have purchased the contract of pitcher Kevin Jepsen, who had a standout performance for Team USA at the Olympics. It will be Jepsen's first time on a major-league roster. Jepsen was 1-3 with a 2.35 ERA in 15 relief appearances with Triple-A Salt Lake.

Dustin Moseley's short start Friday, combined with Saturday's 15-inning game, has put a strain on the bullpen requiring the call for help.
