Angels take oddity into playoffs

The 2008 Angels are the first team since the 1931 Cardinals to win 100 games in a season without a 100-RBI player, a 30-HR hitter, or a 20-game winner. The Halos are the first AL team to do it since the 1915 Red Sox. Both the 1931 Cardinals and 1915 Red Sox went on to win the World Series.
