Figgins making progress

| | Comments (1) |

Chone Figgins, out with a hamstring problem, played in a minor-league rehab game Monday and appears to be on track for a possible return by the end of the homestand. Playing for Triple-A Salt Lake, Figgins had a five-inning day, going 1-for-3 with a run scored. His hit was a single.

Figgins has played in just one game since May 3 because of separate hamstring injuries.

Hurry up Chone. This offense is boring without you. Tonight against James Shields they had a great first inning. Only problem is they scored their maximum four runs. since the first they've been back to their boring offense. Usually when a pitcher struggles like Shields did they won't last much of the game. Now it looks like Jered will be out of the game before James Shields is. Someone do something about this boring offense already. We need some blowouts already.
