Angels thump White Sox 11-1

Five runs in the second and five more in the eighth was more than enough as the Angels pounded the Chicago White Sox 11-1 on Friday. Jon Garland, pitching against his old team, gave up just one hit in three innings. Could Garland wind up as the Opening Day starter for his new team? It's early but with John Lackey behind schedule, it's a good possibility.
